CHIBI ILLUSTRATION

Colorful illustrations with minimal shading, featuring one or more characters with simplified appearance. Chibis illustrations feature primarily a single character, but can feature up to three characters upon client request.

Illustrations with full rendering of a character, based on references provided by the client. Can feature up to three characters and a more or less complex background, at the client's request.

CHARACTER DESIGN

Research and conception of a character's visual design, including the development of its graphic chart (color scheme, body shape, outfit, etc.). During the entire process, several character designs are presented to the client (generally 6 to 8 designs), so that he can decide which graphic elements he would like to keep or not. Once all these decisions have been made, the final version of the character design is presented to the client.Important: A visual chart, as well as an initial vision of the design you want, is required. I personally recommend that you use Pinterest to design a pinboard of reference images (example of Moonlight's pinboard here) or make a Google Drive of your reference images and share them with me.

PROPS DESIGN

In the same way as for a character design commission, the customer can ask for research and design work to be carried out on objects, whether accessories or weapons. The process is the same as for character design, resulting in several design proposals.Similarly, a visual chart is required for this design work.

CHARACTER REFERENCE SHEET (SIMPLE VER.)

This reference sheet configuration is ideal for clients who are primarily aiming for the key visuals of a character. These simple sheets are stripped of any design work. They include a front and back view of a character, as well as a headshot and one or two close-ups of the character's design (including patterns). The backgrounds of these sheets are solid color only.

CHARACTER REFERENCE SHEET (DETAILED VER.)

A more complete sheet configuration. It includes the initial elements of the simple sheet, but with a series of new additions.
The detailed sheet includes three character views, a headshot, one to five character design close-ups (including patterns) and one to three accessories. Furthermore, these sheets are designed to include a background.

TERMS OF SERVICE

General conditions

I have the right to decline, suspend or terminate any order if I deem it necessary, or if it does not comply with my Terms of Service.When placing an order, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
-You must prepare and supply the visual references required for your commission. This includes: reference sheets, any pictures used to reference backgrounds, etc...
-You can ask me to make changes to the artwork during the course of your commission. In this case, additional charges may apply in proportion to the changes requested.

Payment

-Payment must be made fully up front before I start working on your commission. I currently only accept transactions through PayPal. An invoice is systematically sent for each commission.
-The prices shown on my price list are in euros. If you reside in a country using a different currency, I highly recommend that you perform a conversion of my prices.
-If circumstances prevent your project from being completed, a refund will be given according to the amount of work previously carried out on your order.
-Chargebacks are not accepted. Doing a chargeback will result in you being blacklisted and therefore no longer allowed to commission me.

Process

-To ensure that you get the best possible service from start to finish, I'll send you regular screenshots of the progress of your project, and sometimes even a full-sized wip of the commission. I may also consult you on certain graphic decisions I've made. The purpose of this is to ensure that you are as satisfied as possible with the final result.
-You can have your project upgraded to a priority status, at an additional cost of 15% of the total price of your commission.

Copyright

-The characters depicted in all commissions are the property of their owners. They belong exclusively to them.
-As a client, you may use your commission for any non-commercial purpose.
-I own the copyright of the illustrations and other graphic material I produce. As a result, I have the right to use commissions for promotional purposes. For example, to include them in my portfolio.
-Any form of removal or concealment of my signature is strictly prohibited. Alteration of the produced art is also prohibited.
-Client shall not reproduce and/or otherwise use the work in any manner for purposes of training artificial intelligence technologies to generate work, including without limitation, technologies that are capable of generating works in the same style or genre as the work. Nor shall client sublicense others to reproduce and/or otherwise use the work in any manner for purposes of training artificial intelligence technologies to generate work.
-You are authorized to share your commissions as long as you credit me (ideally give a link to my portfolio or mention me if you post on a social media I use).

How do you calculate your prices?

My prices are calculated per hour of work. To establish a coherent pricing grid, I keep track of the time spent on each of my recent works, then calculate an hourly average using a spreadsheet. This way I know precisely how long it takes me on average to produce a given type of work.

Is it possible to pay in several instalments?

Unfortunately, for safety reasons, I don't offer payment in instalments. All payments for an order must be made upfront, once the invoice has been issued.

Do you attend any conventions?

No. I don't attend or run any stands at conventions at the moment. If the future gives me the opportunity, maybe I'll consider it. But right now, it's not part of my plans.

How long have you been into digital art?

I've been making digital art for 8 years now. I started to teach myself in 2016 on Paint Tool SAI, with a Wacom Intuos 4 tablet (PTK-840). I then tried out different softwares such as Adobe Photoshop and MediBang Paint. Since 2020, I work solely with CLIP STUDIO PAINT (PRO) and an iPad Pro (11 inches).
